Disclaimer for The Fluidity of Identity
The Fluidity of Identity is an artistic photography project exploring themes of personal, cultural, and gender identity through creative and experimental portraiture. Participation in this project is voluntary and collaborative. By agreeing to be photographed, participants acknowledge the following:
- Consent to Participation
All participants are required to provide informed consent prior to the photography session. This includes understanding the purpose of the project, the nature of the artwork, and how the images will be used. - Creative Interpretation
The final artwork may involve abstract techniques such as double exposure, reflections, and layering, which could alter the traditional appearance of the portrait. Participants should understand that the creative process seeks to represent identity in a fluid and multifaceted manner, rather than in a strictly literal way. - Image Usage and Rights
- Images created as part of The Fluidity of Identity will be used for the purposes of artistic exhibition, publication, and promotion of the project, including both physical and digital formats.
- Participants will be credited appropriately in any publications or exhibitions unless anonymity is requested.
- Participants agree that the artist retains copyright of the images and may use them for non-commercial and promotional purposes related to the project.
- Privacy and Respect
The project respects the privacy and comfort of all participants. Sensitive topics may arise during creative discussions, and these will be approached with care. Participants are encouraged to share only what they feel comfortable expressing. - Right to Withdraw
Participants have the right to withdraw from the project at any stage prior to the completion of the final artwork. However, once an image is finalized and included in public exhibitions or publications, withdrawal may no longer be possible. - Acknowledgment of Artistic Intent
This project is intended to foster dialogue and reflection on identity. While every effort will be made to respect the perspectives and boundaries of participants, the artwork itself may evoke varied interpretations and responses from viewers.
By participating in The Fluidity of Identity, you confirm that you have read and understood this disclaimer and agree to the terms outlined. If you have any questions or concerns at any stage, please feel free to reach out directly to the project team.
